Hen House is a cafe and bakery located in Gretna, La. Hen House offers an array of freshly baked gluten free pastries and desserts. Bread is baked daily  and used to make delicious sandwiches. Our gluten free bread is made daily in house and regular bread is delivered from Tartine daily. Vegetarian soups are also available by the cup or bowl. We offer an array of salads that are all gluten free. Hen House is brought to you by Cara and Evan Benson who also own Toast and Tartine. Hen House is their King Cake Facility during Carnival and a cozy neighborhood cafe the rest of the year. After suffering with a gluten intolerance for years, Cara wanted to open a cafe where everything on the menu could be made Gluten Free.
